Soooo... Anybody else think it's hilarious the Australia not only has the authority to ban this game in their country, but also does not have anything in place for making any M-rated game legally available for anybody?
I'm dyin' over here. Australia is pretty much a real country, right? It's not like we've ever had to bomb them for being backwards assholes or anything. So what gives?

It's really hard for me to ignore this game. It looks as awesome as I always hoped an MK game would be after the shitfest of MK4. It really does look like they wanted to make a balls-to-the-wall sequel with everything any fan of the series could hope for. The combo system looks pretty sweet and not as broken as it was in MK3. I mean, I love 90-100% combos but in MK3 it was cake to pull off.
Also, I think Skullomania is Patrick Bateman.

This game is just coming out at the perfect time for me. I grew up playing MK in the arcades, from MK1 all the way through 4 but haven't touched the series since then.
Add that to me getting into SF and fighting games as basically the only thing I play since around 2007, and I'm totally into it. Even if is sucks on a "competitive" level I know I'll have fun with it.
