I would love to believe the VC on the 3DS will have everything it should. I just can't get exited after the VC on the Wii. Sitting there waiting for games you want while, if you're lucky, one game a week gets released doesn't give anyone reason to have hope.

VC on the Wii is the biggest screwed pooch of this gen. It's basically money for nothing, and they neglected the fuck out of it anyways.

I think Sony learned that lesson early enough to start exploiting PSOne Classics like they should, though for all I know that may have been in the developers' hands to begin with.

As it stands now, most of the games released on past Nintendo consoles are nowhere to be found on VC. There is no excuse for this. I understand that certain developers can be holdouts while others have long since gone under, but that's the exception. VC is a monument to Nintendo's failure to get it.

Sony totally gets it. Unfortunately, their history is too recent. I either have the PS1 games I want, or I just don't give a shit.

I wanted a lot more N64 games over everything else. Everything that has a screen has an NES/SNES emulator.

In all honesty, fuck P-groove. Without EX moves it was useless.

Nah, it was decent, especially in the new rev. Free super cancels. No scaling on 'em, either. Crazy hit confirmation on stuff like spiral arrow, Geese's jaiken, Athena's anything, etc. The meter charged faster, too.

Only time is going to tell with that. They seemed to have learned some what from the Wii and DS's online and improved that on the 3DS. So maybe they'll improve things with the VC as well. I really have no idea how much of games not coming to it is Nintendo, or lack of developer's wanting to put stuff out, or sales. Sony has done a much better much of releasing PS1 classics on PSN, though like Squall said, its much more recent stuff. I think at this point I own everything I'd ever want to play again on the PS1. They definitely need to do a much better job of promoting the stuff too. While I find MS's way a bit too much like shoving it down your throat, Sony's while similar doesn't feel as forced.

For me personally, I'm much more interested in the 3D Classics than the VC. Which is going to be slow, since they're gonna have to go in and do some actual conversions, since the parallax layers probably don't always line up with things that should be in their layer in 3d Space if that makes sense. Like the PS1 I pretty much own everything I'd want to play on the GB, GBC and GBA. I do not have any classics in 3D though.
