Geen: I have Bust a move, and it's good stuff. The 3d doesn't really do anything, and there's no online play, but as a single player puzzler I'd recommend it.
I agree, some really great stuff has come out on the VC. I think that's what makes things even more frustrating. They clearly have shown that it can be done yet refuse to keep a steady flow coming out. I'm sure some really cool stuff will hit the 3DS. If both Metroid II and Donkey Kong 94 make it out I'll consider it a win since I'm really not expecting much.

I like Pilotwings. It's serene. The missions can be a pain, but collecting things in free flying mode to unlock dioramas is totally my speed.
And why does the map look so good? Like way higher res than the screen should allow.
This is a cool ass picture with 3d effects you can view on your 3DS.

Nothing beats the now famous bubbles picture for pop-out.
Is that an official screen from Vanillaware or some kind of fan mock-up?
No idea, I saw it posted on Neogaf with out any explanation, but thought I would share here. I thought it was pretty well done and maybe gives an idea of what 2d games on the system could look like.
So I've heard. I tried it for a minute and was surprised to see how extreme the 3D is. If I have it cranked up all the way, I see my dude in double vision, like when you hold an object physically close to your eye and try to look past it. Really strange since, unlike real life, I can't focus on him to eliminate the double vision. I have to turn down the 3D setting or try to just look at the environment.

I can't be the only one that instinctively made the same face (and maybe murmured "extreme" too) when I saw the pic.
