Admit it, you thought he wasn't coming back...
Sega has announced the development of two upcoming Sonic titles, respectively heading to the Gamecube and GBA platform. Sonic Mega Collection, as the title implies will be a complilation package of previous Sonic games, though details have not been disclosed at this time. Whereas Sonic Advance 2, will mark an all new addition in the series, which is bound to feature a number of new surprises (and hopefully characters to boot).
We'll have more highlights and the first details once they've become available. (Here's hoping that "Mega Collection" will include Sonic CD!)

The folks at Planet GameCube aren't the only one's referring to the new GBA Sonic as Sonic Advance 2. Gaming Age, GameSpot: Video Games and The Magic Box are also calling the game Sonic Advance 2. I'd say Bahn simply made a minor typing error. ^_~
..and it's not like the news blast Sega sent me was in any other language that I couldn't understand. Mistake do happen, even with Robotnik's prototype editors.Originally posted by Black Arts Viper

The more Sonic collections, the better. There were Sonic collections released for the Genesis and the Saturn (Game.com one DOES NOT COUNT), and now, one for a Nintendo system. Talk about surreal.
