I saw most of an episode recently. It was much better than I expected! Finale of season 9 or something? I'm not sure, didn't really care when they were trying to tell me what was going on beforehand.

I've watched the first two seasons, with Eccleston and Tennant. I really liked Eccleston's no- bullshit attitude, but Tennant has grown on me. He seemed goofy in comparison, but it's just enough playfulness to be fun and not get on my nerves. I gotta admit I'll miss Rose, I hope the next companion will grow on me like the doctor did.
I was in the same boat. Really dug Eccleston being a borderline dick, thought Tennant was too goofy, but turns out he's my favorite of the three. Smith is no slouch though.
Tennant gets kind of pissed before it's all over.
"I'm the Doctor, and you're in the biggest library in the Universe. Look me up."

Yeah, in the beginning he's so different from Eccleston, but he endures some heartbreaking stuff and comes out super salty by the end.
He's got a major dark side. The first time you really see it is in The Family two parter. That was the episodes that made me decide that tenant was the best.
