Finished season 3, watching the Christmas episode going into season 4. Why couldn't Kylie Minogue be the new companion and not that bride bitch from the last Christmas episode!

Started watching Torchwood: Children of Earth. Unlike regular Torchwood, it is actually pretty good!

The bride grew on me, but she's still my least favorite companion.

Donna was the best by far. I didn't like her at first either but she grew into the best of all his new companions.

I still haven't gotten around to finishing season 5 (I stopped after the first episode with the underground reptile people). Other than the fact that she's gorgeous Amy is a fucking horrible companion.

The reptile episodes were rough, but it gets a bit better after them. Sooo many problems with those episodes though.

My Jacks and I have been watching the original series from the beginning. We've made it to the 4th Doctor, 1977. Can't wait to get to the new series.

I really like Sarah Jane Smith as a companion. She was spunky, aggressive and cute as a button.

In sadder news Elisabeth Sladen, who played Sarah Jane Smith, passed away yesterday. I guess she had cancer, which I would never have known from her appearances on the show - she looked as healthy and vibrant as one could possibly hope to look at 63.
