BTW, I read Harry's review over at AICN. It's no suprise- as usual, he opens a review of a RR movie by spending a whole paragraph blabbing about how he's bestest friends evar with RR (even though he never seems to get many exclusives from him...odd), he's worked with him before, he'll work with him again, he's having his baby, etc, and then proceeds to happily tounge RR's asshole for the review. Oh sure, he mentions that he doesn't one to two of RR's flicks just to try to maintain some shred of credibility, but the dude's review is so biased and asskissing that it's a joke.

But the real gems are some of the shit the talkbackers say before the thread turned into a whole assfucked illegal immigrant debate. Choice bits are:

They spend too much time trying to flesh out a multi-character storyline instead of having fun with the exploitation conventions. Just like in "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" the hero gets lost in the mix as the story bounces between the bad guys. "Machete" has it's moments but I found most of it kind of boring.

15 years too late in the making, Danny Trejo looks like a Mexican Drunkard Slob. Not quite the badass he use to be.

cka's a dildo. I never used the word "love" and "Pirahna 3D" in the same sentence. I never said I hated The Expendables. I also said that I only watched the first scene of KoF and might change my mind after watching the whole thing, which I did. Tekken is indeed better.

But this movie sucks. I think the problem is you fuckers have shit taste.

Really fun movie! First time CG blood didn't bother me, they did a good job with it. Biggest knock against it is that it lost it's way in the last act. Too much chasing around the last bosses that all had disappointing ends. Cutting 5-10 minutes would have made a big difference.
