    Zsasz could work like the Scarecrow was in the beginning of TDK.

    And this may have been mentioned in a previous thread, but Phillip Seymour Hoffman would make a great Penguin.

    I thought it would be fitting with the way the third movie seems to be set up. Batman takes the fall at the end of The Dark Knight, but is then redeemed in the next movie and is embraced by the citizens of Gotham as their protector. No longer an outcast, he's now their caped crusader.

    "The Dark Knight Rises" is just really stupid.

    The narrator of The The Dark Knight Also Rises is Bruce Wayne, an expatriate millionaire in his mid-twenties who lives in Paris. Wayne is impotent because of a war wound, though the nature of his wound is never explicitly described. He loves Vicky Vale, a twice-divorced Englishwoman in her thirties who gained a title from her most recent marriage. Vicky wears her hair short and embodies the new sexual freedom of the 00s, having had numerous love affairs. The first half is set in Paris. Bruce plays tennis with his Jewish college friend Clark Kent, picks up a prostitute in one scene, and escapes with Vale from a gathering at a nightclub. Vale declares that she loves Bruce, but they both realize, without speaking it, that his inability to fulfill her sexual needs would make a lasting relationship impossible.

  8. Catwoman seems like the obvious choice, but I don't know if she's dark enough for the Nolan series. At least not enough to be the sole villain. A lot of Batman villains like Clayface, Ventriloquist, and Man-Bat seem like they'd be too cartoony for the Nolan series, too. Really it almost feels too late to introduce "super powers" to the series.

    Just in terms of being able to continue the tone set by the first two, I think Black Mask would be a good, if not necessarily obvious choice. Mad Hatter is probably more iconic and is pretty dark in some versions, but might tread a little close to Joker territory.

    I like the Nolan movies, but I'm kind of glad this is the last one. Batman seems to work well with a reboot every few movies.

  10. By last one, I meant last one with Nolan. Obviously the series will continue in one form or another, but I'm pretty sure I heard Nolan say he was out after this one, at least as director.
