I picked up the 3D bluray a week ago since it was $8 after coupon at Best Buy.
Whether it was the version I watched originally, or they cleaned it up for the disc release, I don't know; but I didn't notice any of the film quality jumps like I bitched about before. Made watching it a lot more pleasant this time.
3D was pretty good too.

I watched this on my home system. So my sound system is pretty decent and I had my sub turned on... whenever someone did SLO-MO, my house almost fell apart. Giant cannons, gun battles, car chases... pretty awesome sounding; SLO-MO, the lowest rolling bass striking hell upon the unsuspecting.
It's crazy.
