Saw a trailer for this before Exp2, was amused that this would play before Stallones latest. Does not look promising.

Some dude just reviewed Dredd for AICN. The dude called it the "single most faithful comic book adaptation to ever hit the big screen." Not the GREATEST comic book adaptation ever, but the most faithful. So, basically, he says that if you dig Judge Dredd (and I do), you should be more than happy with this movie.

I don't want a "faithful" comic book movie. I don't give a fuck about comic books.

I just want a good movie. If Dredd achieves goodness by being faithful to the 2000AD source material, then great.

This is looking good. I have faith in Karl Urban and Alex Garland's script. If I didn't already have absolute confidence in Garland's writing, I would after learning that his favorite fucking video game is DARK SOULS.
