DariusBurst was a nice.. distraction. The Burst option was fine, but the rest of the game-- scoring, difficulty and level design-- was sparse. I'll need some confirmation of G.Rev development to get excited.
It's probably going to look a bit like the 4P Derby Owners' Club cabinet. How do you do a 4P shmup without it being a clusterfuck?
Sure, this isn't the first time. Giga Wing 2 on DC went there.
Anyway... it's Darius. A home version with scaled-down graphics would be nice for those of us whose arcades may not pick it up. Hopefully they'll also bring out a "standard" 2P version. I'd like to see this hit at either D&B or KDB.

Not even 17 hours to go now. Taito is dropping their bombshell at 10AM EDT.
Should Taito decide on a home port of Darius Burst Another Chronicle, they could try something similar to Forza Motorsport's multi-monitor modes. Two 360s, 2 copies of the game, and 2 HDTVs. Then someone will probably try to rig a custom cabinet of their own for it, to somehow set up 2 displays without the "Nintendo DS" break between screens.
Playing on 1 screen would mean getting the crap letterboxed out of it, for a 1280 x 360 play area. This would beat not getting any home version, but the 2 system/monitor mode should be kept in for purists.

I like the cabinet design, but the graphics let me down slightly. They don't look that much better than the PSP game. But gameplay is everything- and TBH the PSP Darius Burst delivers there.
From DARIUS.JP (the new site), it looks like they're having a loketest on 8/7 & 8/8 and giving away a free Darius Burst pen.
