Oh my.
Ive been watching (spoiling) some quick videos of multiplayer from people who already have the game...

THIS is Battlefield. Even on console. The maps are huge and open even in Rush mode. TONS of vehicles. Lots and lots of tank action, im seeing tanks everywhere and with actual space to maneuver unlike BC2.

Im getting the BF2 PC vibe completely.
Multiple jets and choppers taking off from the aircraft carrier + the classic Battlefield 2 beginning of the round when the jets hit the skies and start dropping bombs.
Bad Company 2 was training wheels childs play compared to this.
THIS is Battlefield.

Get hyped!

For console peons:
Full install with HD texture pack on 360 is just shy of 16 gb + there is a 300 mb patch I believe.

Now that I have my days off, this cannot come soon enough. I love these options to instal the game and the hi res textures, but now I have to wait even longer to play the game after I get home with it.

So who will be picking it up tomorrow night?

I have no problems with having to install this game. If developers want to push the hardware by doing this it's great. Rage looked and ran great after an install.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. I love installing, but even when I get home with the game in hand I have to wait for all the instals. It wasn't a real complaint as much as a OMG I WANNA PLAY THE GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Oh I got what you said. But yeah having to wait to install on some games is tough! Lol. At least after that the games work right away. I guess I'll go presell this today.
