Bioshock Infinite's beginning is like if Half-Life 2 started off the same exact way it does now- but as soon as you left the train station it gave you a choice to snap a puppies neck or cure cancer, with either outcome resulting in you shooting every nearby human in the face.

When that guy was like "You're a real soldier, pls kill my men," and his guys were like "wait what did he just say?" (not really but they should've been) I kind of checked out. It was dumb. Then that chick told me to do something else I didn't care about and I'd had enough.

I do love infinite. but ive been playing through bioshock 1 again, and i like the atmosphere,the powers, the enemies, and the weapon upgrades a lot better. It really bummed me out that you didn't any visual representation of your weapon upgrades. i love the way my fully upgraded shotgun looks.

It's also kinda odd that every weapon you pick up conveniently has all of the upgrades you've purchased every time! Lucky you!

You can also only carry two weapons, but no problem lugging a shit ton of bullets, including rockets.

Bioshock at least had super simplified hacking and researching, which is also now gone.

It's like games are regressing, even for console games.
