People that live near New York are so insecure.
People that live near New York are so insecure.
They really are a bunch of pussies
Good thing I'm in it.
I just don't understand the hipster mind set when it comes to not liking popular things because they are popular. If something you like is popular isn't that a win/win because you are more liable to get more of what you like? So do hipsters enjoy things based on the merit found in them or only on the meta thoughts about said item?
I think it is a mild case of reversed logic.
Right now a lot of things are lowest common denominator in an effort to advertise to the largest range of people and maximize profits. Lowest common denominator is pretty fucking low in the US. They are pretty fucking stupid and classless.
hipsters assume that by avoiding these mainstream things and liking things that most people do not like, they are in fact smarter than the lowest common denominator. They live under the delusion that by liking things that stupid people do not like, and not liking things that stupid people like, they are thus smarter and this makes them better.
Which is not necessarily the reality. But that is the logic of it.
Which isn't a hipster thing. Its a maturity thing.
Well also the masses tend to ruin things.
Example: Bling. When it was popular in the Hip-Hop culture it was in their vernacular. The mainstream took it over and ruined the fuck out of it, by overexposure.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Sounds like it, that's something I would do when I was like twelve grew out of it by fourteen.Which isn't a hipster thing. Its a maturity thing.
