Thread: Big Bang Blitz's Criminally Overlooked Games

  1. #11
I don't think there would be anything to sue over. It just seemed more Capcom-like to me than their other games. I guess it wasn't that popular although I did have one near me that I played a lot in my college days.

Really? I owned (and still own) Clash back in the days of the NES, and loved it. A lot of humor, a lot of exploration fun, and I remember it being an overal enjoyable game. Now, maybe I wouldn't think that if I played it today, but I do have fond memories of it.

  3. How can you hate a game where there's a dude named "Tom Guycot"?

It honestly looks like Capcom made it and just passed on publishing it.

It apparently has a Polish following? Is this because you invade something and they wanted to check out what that's like?

I didn't hate it or anything but I just remember being disappointed with it when I bought it after being told how awesome it was. This was around 20 years ago so I'm definitely overdue to give it another shot.

Skyblazer got enough rep. I bought the game because of all the talk about how great it was. The game was nothing special to me and I'd sold it, even though it was complete with box and manual.

    Yeah, it's everything special!

  7. The Outfoxies is a ton of fun. I had never heard of it until Wilykat mentioned it to me one day, but yeah, an XBLA or PSN port would be absolutely amazing. Too bad it'll never happen.

  8. Firepower 2000! Man, I forgot that game existed. It was awesome back in the day.

  9. Osman looks like it kicks Strider 2 square in the ass!

I loved it, too. It wasn't until years later I realized it was part of the SWIV series. It's called Super SWIV in Europe. Fans of the game might also want to try SWIV (various computers) and Mega SWIV (PAL Mega Drive) although I think the SNES one is the best overall.
