Thread: Earth Defense Force: Insect Apocalypse

  1. I like the improved graphics, but I'm worried that it will come at the sacrifice of the number of enemies.

Yes. It will also be better than this game.

Played it for the first time a few months back. I liked it! Very arcadey, very mindless, very fun.

Makes me wish Reignliev would come out here.

It's kind of like if Dynasty Warriors had guns, only more brainless than even that if you can imagine it.

  6. Except in Dynasty Warriors you can stare at the hordes of bad guys and they'll mill around a bit, maybe consider poking you with a stick now and then. Try that in EDF and see what happens.

EF2017 on high difficulties is more tactical than any other shooter out there. It requires solid teamwork and strategy if you don't want to be overwhelmed. The campaign of any Halo game on legendary is completely braindead by comparison.

  9. EDF would be cooler if they reworked it without armor collecting.

I'm actually going to miss imagining that it's all just a big kid manchild? playing with toys.

It looks like one can still Blow Up EVERYTHING®. Also, everybody's still REALLY EXCITED. This game will be my game.
