Out with the old and in with the new

Well I did some cleaning out and decided to get rid of some stuff I wasn't using, I then used the money to buy some stuff which I know I will get some good use of

What I got rid of:
Apple / Bandai Pippin system and games
Sega Dreamcast BBA and 3.0 browser

What I bought with the money:
XBOX system w/ Advanced AV pack, XBOX hat and t-shirt
Gunvalkyrie
Jet Set Radio Future
Neo Geo new 1 slot MVS, small unit type
Metal Slug 3 new MVS kit

I think that was a good move, I did get rid of my rarest system but at least I will get good use of the stuff I bought

Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for it when it came out and how did you get one? I remembered reading about it in Next-Gen but then it just kinda disappeared of the radar or at least the radar I was looking at.

It was a pretty neat system, lack of good games though with only a few that where even good... it was a pretty cool looking system though ^_^

I bought it in late 1997, it actually came out in 1996 though... I paid around $500 for it, it is almost impossible to find games for it though so getting the ones I had was quite hard... I kept the rarest Pippin game I had because it was part of my Dragon Ball game collection

Planetweb still sells them but you have to contact them through email. The version 2.60 browser is the best so far. 3.00 works great with some sites but slower with others. The instant messaging sucks, but the flash and applet support is decent. The menu system is redesigned and quite nice, and the browser runs at higher resolution on a TV than a normal browser, which makes a big diference on the eyes. *-neo

Never heard of a Pippin before.... What kind of games did it have? What other console is it comparable to? Somewhere in-between the PS and DC? I couldn't find any screen shots anywhere. What style game is the DB game?
