I don't remember the exact scores, but I believe it got a "Gold Medal". I remeber Zelda 64 and Soul Calibur being other titles rewarded likewise.

...Even if I think SC didn't deserve a Gold.

Actually, I believe those two got perfect scores from Famitsu.

And I can't begin to comprehend how SC got a perfect. They must've pulled a similar incident to GameFan and accidently got high before writing some reviews...

Mario 64 definately got a platinum award. I think it got 39/40.

Either the score is bullshit or Famitsu think that Mario Sunshine is flawed (lifespan? gfx?). I think it's the former, Famitsu are too pussy to give high profile games just a gold award.
