What Are You Playing? (Fall 2010)

A 360 version of the revised game + expansion only came out in Europe I believe. For some reason, they're not selling it separately. I'm playing the PC version with the expansion.

I just sent Just Cause 2 back to gamefly, it didn't really click with me for some reason. I played a lot of the first one and 2 is clearly better, but I just didn't get it's hooks into me. The world seems too big, even if you can catapult around to speed things up it still felt like a chore getting to where you want to go.

Tried a little Vindictus, a free-to-play Korean MMO. Plays somewhere between DMC and PSO, where preformed groups of four people go into instanced dungeons from a small hub town, with very combo-heavy action gameplay and a neat physics engine. Not as bad as I thought it might be and actually pretty fun, but I'll probably get bored of it soon enough.


Halfway through Chapter 2 in Castlevania: LOS and it's okay. I probably shouldn't be playing this right after Vanquish, makes it feel a lot more boring with all the running around empty areas and needless wall-scaling. I also don't like the button-combo dodge, wish they would've used the right-stick since it's not doing shit else.

Been playing this too, pretty fun though I can't get a solid connection when grouping with people which makes it harder to enjoy Built in capture feature is awesome though.

I lost interest in Epic Mickey as soon as they showed game play.

It didn't pay the concept art justice what so ever.

I am finishing up Singularity right now.

Over the past couple of years, Raven decided to make some atrocious design decisions. I think they're gone now, liquidated into some COD map pack team. I was sad, but after playing this game, I have changed my mind a little bit.

Still, I like this game well enough.

I think it uses peer hosting, just always start your own group and it works great.

Just finished Beyond Good & Evil (XBOX) after taking in feedback from my thread. Also completed Assassin's Creed Bloodlines and watched Lineage so playing Assassin's Creed II Special Edition (360) now. The JP SE comes with all of the DLC on the disc as opposed to DLC codes in the EU version.

Over the weekend, we did an early Thanksgiving at our house and played some gun games on my arcade CRT setup:
