Cum brulée?
Lawl.
I've been slacking hard on the Xenogears because of Cataclysm and the Ghostbusters patch. I'm level 84 in one and just finished the other so it's time to get back to that shit. I'm enjoying Xenogears even more than I did before.

Tomorrow is Xenogears day for me, as is next week, now that finals are over it's time to get shit done before your pick.
You should make your thread as soon as possible, btw, so we can all start trying to get out shit ready for it.
I was considering waiting until after New Years. I know I won't be around from the middle of next week until then.

Don't wait that long, get it up before you leave.
I don't want the first transition to go off late, sets a bad tone.
I figured Xenogears was December and mine would start January 1st. I guess I could do it earlier.

I've played a good bit of stuff in the last week or so.
PS3
Uncharted 1. So far I'm digging it. I find the camera a bit annoying at times though. The aiming and gun play (so far) has been a bit slow, and felt a little clunky IMHO.
Sports Championship. I haven't tried all of the games on here yet. The beach volleyball game feels overly complicated. Table Tennis can be fun, but have had quite a few times of the game deciding that I wasn't trying to bring my arm back but in fact wanted to hit the ball backwards. Which is super annoying. I also don't like having to constantly calibrate between games. I found the Gladiator game really imprecise as well. A lot of this is prime reason why I can take or leave motion controls. Just keep pointer controls though.
Super Street Fighter II HD Remix, so fucking nice to be able to play this on a controller whose D-pad doesn't suck giant dick.
360
Beatles Rockband. Already played through it when it first came out but had the urge to go back and play a bunch of the songs again. Not a huge rockband/guitar hero buff, but for me this is still the best one.
Wii
Donkey Kong Country Return. I don't know, it's not a bad game, but I'm not connecting with it the way others are. I feel like a lot of the deaths are super cheap, off on a jump onto an enemy by 1 pixel and it I lose a heart. Some of the levels have been fun, but the autoscrolling ones can die in a fire. For what it's worth I wasn't a big fan of the previous DKC games either. I played the first one and thought it was alright and just never really gave too much about the others.
Golden Eye. How the fuck did Activision fuck up the controls on this. They've given you a good amount of control over adjusting them, but I still can't seem to dial into something that works. I almost feel like they fucked up pointer controls to try and force you to play it with the Classic Control, which seems to be what the game was built around.
In the next week or two I'm hoping to finally try Xenogears, Assassin's Creed II and Epic Mickey.
That post was really boring.
Thanks for that wonderful counter post there Compass, it really added something deep and thoughtful to the discussion about what people are playing.
