Thread: One Console Future

  1. Money is loose enough. It's always going to a new daddy.

  2. So stupid that it made me chuckle. Damn you Razor.

That's only a Wii statement. It was not true of the GameCube. That was a one-time fluke.

  4. Selling a gamecube here we go for $200 these days will make them good $$.

  5. I am ready for a new console/generation. Even the best PS3 games start to look the same. I want to be wowed visually and I don't mean looking up at your mom's skirt again.

  6. I'm fine with current gen. I'm sick of the price gouging and it will only go higher for future consoles. Paying $50 for a controller is unacceptable.

  7. It is called inflation.

The current set up is what causes $50 controllers. Assuming accessories would be standard like the games, a single platform would drive those prices down.

  9. I'm cool with it as long as it's Under God.

This statement, which I hear all the fucking time, trips me out. People drop $60 on games that may last them 8-12 hours before they're done with them forever. But to pay $50 for a controller that potentially should last for hundreds of hours is highway robbery. I paid $55 for a dualshock 3 the day they came out. It still works like a charm all these years later.
Doesn't seem like a bad deal to me.
