Help a PS One newbie out

Ok I just got a PS One yesterday along with Twisted Metal 2 and ONE and I have about $25 to spend on another game and was wondering what to get. I'd appreciate some opinions on the following games

Metal Gear Solid
Herc's Adventures
Strikers 1945
Crash Team Racing
Driver/Driver 2
The Italian Job
Gran Turismo 2
Tekken 3
Medal of Honor
MediEvil/MediEvil II
Mega Man 8

Metal Slug X and Castlevania SOTN were high on my list, but I am having trouble finding SOTN and MSX is a bit too expensive for now.

I suggest you find a copy of Ape Escape. It's a GH title and one of my favorite PSX games. Give it a try, I bet you'll love it. MONKEYS!

On a side note WHY would you want TM1 AND TM2? I would just go with TM2 if I had to have a car combat game. (Or, better yet, Rogue Trip, the REAL TM3)

I probablly should have worded that a little better.....I didn't buy two TM games (TM2 is the only good one in the series anyway) I bought the game Twisted Metal 2 and the game ONE.

Metal Gear Solid - Excellent game, must buy !!!
Herc's Adventures - ok game, get it if see cheap
Strikers 1945 - Another must buy Some shump goodness
Crash Team Racing - never played it, heard its good
Driver/Driver 2 - ok game
The Italian Job - never played
Gran Turismo 2 - never played
Tekken 3 - must own IMO
Medal of Honor - never played, but heard lots of good things about
MediEvil/MediEvil II - pretty good 3d platformer/action
Mega Man 8 - never played


Korly, Cool to see another Apocalypse fan

Both Apocalypse and One are great games.

Some more games to keep in mind:

Tenchu 1&2 - Fun ninja action/adventure
Fear Effect 1&2 - Action/horror cinematic adventures
Silent Bomber - Another cool action game
Deception Series (1,2,3) - Must have IMO

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Deception games!

1 and 2 are awesome, but I never played part 3.


I also liked Monster Rancher 1, but I never played part 2.
