Stop shitting up this thread.
I've been playing a lot of Doom lately. I feel like I have just about everything I want in ManDoom, so I've been booting it up off and on all day doing Berserk mode runs on randomized episodes. Worth the time it took to dig around the ZDoom source!
Some friends visited last weekend and we all played some Virtual-On Force 4-player split. It actually works pretty great as a party fighting game! I'm surprised at how much easier it is to pick up than VOOT. After this, my girlfriend wanted to play me in Oratorio Tangram of all things, so she wound up getting XBLA 5.66 and we've been playing system link the past few days.
I started Ghost Trick, too. Very nice visuals, nice character design. Puzzles seem a little braindead, but it just started.
Blade Runner is pretty cool, too. I got past the incredibly stupid run across the street part, so it's been looking up.
Xenogears: Slowly. I put no more than an hour on it any time I play before I get upset that I wasn't playing it on an emulator where it looks better.
Blade Runner: Almost done, probably finish it up tomorrow actually.
Final Fantasy XII: Holy shit have I dumped time into this, I've played for about a week I think and I have 44 hours. It's just so fucking good.
Wind Waker: My favorite Zelda game and it looks just great emulated. Been messing around with it, doubt I'll play it to completion in anything close to a quick manner, but you never know.
I just restarted Dead Space after 2+ years. I gotta say it's way better with the A40+Mixamp than it was with the surround sound setup I was using back then. It's actually kind of scary.
Xenogears. Kind of boring so far (I'm at Babel Tower).
Mage Slayer (PC) - A 3D overhead dungeon crawl somewhat like a cross between Gauntlet & Ikari Warriors. Like Heretic, some items you pick up can be stored for later use. MS uses 2D sprites and 3D backgrounds similarly to Ys VI.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: I went up to a cabin for three days so I borrowed this from my sister to play on the drive and when everyone else went to sleep early. It's technically fucking terrible, but when you look at it from a "this needs to work on short bursts because it's on a handheld" perspective it's actually not too bad. I'll probably finish it up slowly between classes and shit, but it's not gonna pull me away from any other games I'm playing at home.
Aban Hawkins & the 1000 Spikes: Fuck my ass it's is so hard. I highly doubt I'll finish this, because even if I want to, I'm just not gonna get this done with how much I've died in the first world so far and I'm not gonna restart it later. I'll play till I run out of my 1000 lives and then I'll call it completed from my end.
Williams Pinball Hall of Fame (PS3)
Yeah, this is good, but my God is it begging for tate. The newer, more complex tables like No Good Gophers seem like they would be incredible in real life, but they're just too busy for the too zoomed-out or too zoomed-in angles this game affords.
