Yeah it was pretty horrible. You have to click at the edge of the screen straight down and some to the right. I had to try it like 8 times + before I lived through it, but then the dude got blasted off screen and I couldn't get his last words clues. I had to try it about 15 other times before he actually died on screen. I can only assume it's dumb timing based off the current era PCs which is something, especially in the PC market, I will NEVER understand. What are they thinking, processors will never get faster than this! Certainly not at the projected exponential rate that everyone knows?!

I fired this up and played about two hours this morning. It's aged much better than I expected, although some of the graphical glitches that are probably due to incompatibility with Windows 7 and/or modern video cards are funny. McCoy vanished as he was walking at one point, as opposed to the more common flickering. I wish they still made serious adventure games.

This is where I am now too. Odds on whether this game ever gets turned on again are currently 2:1.

edit: I tried roughly 10 more times. Even when McCoy runs, he gets caught in the blast. Updated odds of the game getting turned on again are 20:1.

When I finally did it successfully, it seems like I had to constantly click about a foot in front of McCoy. He'd start accelerating, kinda weird.

The itch to see the story through beat the odds, and I finished it a few minutes ago. I got the ending where McCoy partners with Crystal after rasta asshole blows up Maggie. This was a great pick, Mzo. I've owned it forever but don't think I ever finished it before.

It has been almost a month and there are a large number of club members that haven't participated (or mentioned trying to). It's a fairly short game that should be able to run on most PCs made in the last 15 years. And it's good. You guys suck.

I just got Guzza's file from the twins in the sewers; it seems like I'm really close to the end.
