I got a hankerin' to play my SNES and booted this one up. It totally SHITS all over the Genesis/Sega CD game. The grappling hook was a little wonky, but overall the game is awesome.

Ok shooter, but nothing really impressive. Outside of Darius Gaiden on the Saturn, I can't really get into any of these games, as they seem so dull. The funny thing is that I own something like, 4 of them on different consoles.

Too bad we couldn't get the driving levels from the Sega CD version to marry the beat'em up levels from the SNES one.

The driving levels in the Sega CD version were pretty dumb. They might've been cool as a mini-game every so often but as a stand alone product it was inexplicable shit. How do you even decide to do that? Batman driving to crime scenes, ingenious. Then they show you the good parts in a cutscene once you get there. I hope someone was fired and became homeless over that.
