Started watching this. Intensely boring first season with the occasional decent moment, but that second season is pretty great. Why can't more shows keep their godawful first season limited to only six episodes? I'd watch way more stuff if it meant not wading through 12 hours of fucking garbage to get started.
But anyway, yeah. Those Venezuelans. Fucking loved it.
I finally made it into season 3 and I think I see where you're coming from. It's still funny with some laugh out loud moments, but I feel like the characters started devolving strictly into simple caricatures focused around one or two personality traits. Feels like they're already out of ideas and just trying to keep it rolling, but I also could not stop laughing at the easy gag of Ron's burned off eyebrows. I'm probably going to switch to something else soon but it was a good run.
Like I said, it's still funny, but it feels more forced than it did before. They spent the whole first two seasons dealing with the relationship between Ann, Andy, and Mark and now it's just HA HA ANN SURE IS BAD AT DATING NEW GUYS ALL THE TIME, the wedding episode felt pretty forced, Ron seems less vulnerable with a gruff exterior and more just the latter (stuff in the vein of his paralyzed hernia episode and Duke Silver secret have all but vanished), and just things like that.
I think the wedding (or just leading up to it) was probably the low point of the show, other than season 1. But Ben plays the best straight man that's kind of just as weird as everyone else just not in a crazy way ever. So I can't be that mad at it.
I'm not too worried about next season but you never know with a time jump.
