Kinda sad that this has become a mid-season filler, aside from UCB it's about the only show I can stand Amy Poehler in. Not sure how much I'll like Community once they exhaust movie genres to spoof!

TV is better now than I think it's ever been. Both drama and comedy-wise.

Community has never been my bag, either. I LIKE it (I think Abed is the shit) but I don't connect with it or the characters at all. Too many self-aware hang-a-lantern-on-it jokes. Takes me out of it. Modern Family's still the tops for me.

I would have argued that too, but then I watched all of Parks and Modern Family got taken out. Watching Parks now is watching it in its creative groove, it's really really impressive. Modern Family is still great, I'm not going to argue with that at all.

I'm loving where this Ron/Andy thing is going. I think the show took off when they realized that they were the two best characters (at least for the best, most direct jokes)
But for reals, Community and Modern Family are the best comedies on TV.
