Yeah, I thought it was odd I couldn't find anything on it and double-checked. Unless there was a recent announcement, I didn't see any notice for a version for comps.

That's a shame. Capcom makes great PC ports.

Still, I lost a lot of interest after reading that your dude can jump now.

You can complete the whole game without jumping, there's an achievement for doing so, and after you beat the game you unlock retro mode which will disable jumping. Also, I remember them talking about a PC version around E3 time, but nothing since. Possibly it'll be coming sometime after.

I can't say I understand why people are against it. I like being able to jump in platform-ish games and always wanted to be able to do it in that series.

I mean, I see where you're coming from but I love the idea of a platformer without a jump button. It's one of those blatantly artificial limitations that winds up making the game a lot more interesting since it affects level and enemy design so dramatically.

It's neat that the game is still being designed around claw-only. I guess I just resent them making the change in response to the mouthbreathers who deleted the demo because they couldn't figure out the controls.

What's out in February 2011?

Bulletstorm and Muchi Muchi Pork! & Pink Sweets are the only surefire purchases for me this month. I might try Two Worlds II but there's no way I'll be buying it, even if it is good, due to all the other RPGs coming out this year. Bionic Commando Rearmed II and Hard Corps: Uprising might be purchases based on the price and the quality of the demos, but I'm running out of space on my pathetic 20gb 360 HDD, so they'll have to really impress me.
