Another thing: Stupid Pizza Hut commercial at the beginning of The Land Before Time VHS. Same thing with Coke and Batman '89.

Yeah that's the one. I'm not even going to watch it. I can perfectly remember the whole thing like I just watched it. It's an inseparable part of the movie for me.


Another one in that vein: Arnie's hilariously out of place youth exercise thing in front of Terminator 2 on VHS.

Apparently his name is Slim Goodbody. I'm pretty sure I didn't know that until just now. I used to get pretty excited when this came on TV, don't really know why, I can hardly remember the show. I think it was mostly because it was rarely on, an early foray into being pretensious I suppose.

I loved this show, and I didn't realize until much later in life that it was a japanese cartoon.

Cartoon openings are always the raddest thing. Crazy budgets, and you see every neat idea about the thing in one place.

That show was pretty good. The guy who's voice you hear at the beginning just died recently. He was actually a cop in real life before getting into television, although he's not a black guy like in the cartoon.
