Wait, this is only $30? That changes everything.
So not only does a playthrough mean playing through both stories in a row, but to unlock everything using singleplayer you have to play through twice starting from a different side each time. The achievements list is also crazy for the amount of times someone would have to play through almost everything, since there's two for beating the game from each starting point doing every mission, eighteen for beating each stage on normal and on hard starting from each side, one for beating every boss with a rampage, one for beating every boss with a killer move, and one for beating the game without ever retrying.
On the flip side you can also unlock everyone while playing multiplayer so it's not crazy if you don't want it to be or don't care about achievements, but man. I tried playing a little online last night but my connection was shitty for some reason so I did terrible with everyone else teleporting around (I was the only one with a red connection, which isn't normally the case). Still, once the team I was on started to find its groove things got pretty good.
p.s. I will probably not play this on hard for a while, some of the later stuff on normal would be obviously hellish on the harder difficulty level.

I'm skipping this. They'll get my money for Revengeance anyway.
I've had it for a few days. The comparisons to Powerstone 2, etc. are apt. For 30 I was expecting something that was passable - just dumb fun, you know? It is, but there's also some depth in the fighting mechanics.
Pleasantly surprised given the price. I'm on 360 if anyone's looking to do multi.
I was all about this until the moment I found out there was no local multiplayer.
