I liked the concept more than actually playing it. Probably something to do with me not liking the battle system.

Got it in the mail! Only had a little time to try it after waking up today. So far, I really like the music and the portrait art. Oh, and the menu design is deceptively slick for a DS game. Or a fantasy game. Or a JRPG in general.
Outside that, I haven't had enough time to tell how the rest of it pans out. Promising though!
EDIT: A few hours in and I'm liking it more and more. It feels like your choices have weight, even if the game is built around taking mulligans any time you pick wrong. Also the writing is pretty decent and the fighting is fun! It's not special, but its very fast and snappy, which is great.

I put a couple of hours into this today, and I think I heart it. Finch's awesome streak continues.
I've had this game for over a year and I just can't get excited about it. Maybe it's the weird battle system, or maybe it's the terrible character design.

Or maybe it's you.
The character design is one of the things that attracted me to the game to begin with.
I'm maybe 10 hours into this and it's very, very good.
