Got a copy of this on Saturday.

The bad: Nothing learned from first game's hand-holding crap, the framerate slows to a crawl in spots.

The good: Using the stylus for painting is great (though not perfect) and the essence of the game is captured beautifully in a super-deformed NES port way. The pup and most of the new designs are super-cute.

The worst part of the game easily.

The game looks gorgeous for a DS game (and when i say that i mean it's BEAUTIFUL SO SHUT UP), and it does a fairly good job representing the world Okami took place in.
Chibiterasu is SOOO cute.

My biggest issue is that for two days, I've only had enough time to play for 20 mins, quit without saving (since I was still sitting through intro stuff), start again, and quit at the first save.

More or less, it feels like Okami. Which can be a bad thing for a portable game. Having only 20 minutes to an hour to play means frantically searching for a save rather than soaking in the adventure.

Okamiden also reminds me how much I need to get my PS2 Okami back from a friend. It's literally been years!
