Now that we've seen their hand, are these exclusives enough to sell Wii U consoles in 2014 before the 2015 lineup is washed away by what seems to be the actual start of the current generation?
- Hyrule Warriors (September)
- Bayonetta 2 (October)
- Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker (Holiday)
- Super Smash Bros. (Holiday)
I'm particularly curious if anyone is actually planning on buying one, as opposed to just trying to predict the behavior of others (as I'm admittedly trying to do).
My opinion is that anyone who is is that interested in Smash Bros. likely already bought the console for Mario 3D World and that the other three aren't going to move significant units. That will lead to Nintendo's very strong 2015 lineup really not mattering as much as it could have with different timing.
Bayonetta certainly puts the icing on this year's best release month though for those that already have the system.
