Definitely. After year one, if you have a pulse there is like no way to lose in this game.

Hoping the sequel will get try to parallel the real life industry a bit more; especially the part where every big game in real life has these horror stories of unrealistic deadlines. This game doesn't seem to let you set any, nor demonstrate a reason to have to set a deadline. Oh, and tie-ins to other media is a big thing. That should be addressed. And longer game titles.

My imagination is captured, so this is still a great game that I didn't have incentive to finish.

  2. Deadlines would probably be good, since there seemed to be no reason to release a buggy game. The game was all, "You can release it early if you want!" but you get developer points for fixing the bugs and it doesn't hurt to wait until it's ready, so... okay?

  3. I stopped playing because I literally couldn't waste enough money to bankrupt my company.

Because none of the shit is bad investments, really. The first part of the game is all about expanding within your means, but by the end if you make every game Budget+, write on the moon every week, and have a staff with a payroll of $100 million you'll actually make it back and then some. There's no bad decisions.

  5. This was (still is?) 10 cents on the Android Market sale. Got it Friday and haven't put it down. The looks I get when I explain to my gf that I am playing a sim game about making games!

  6. I think I bought this game on iPhone during the summer for $2. It was easily the best $2 I've ever spent in my life.
