Because driving in a city and racing are two different things? Because there is more variety in L.A. Noire? I don't know, because I would play both.

Did you ever play the original Starfox 64? I'm wondering how this stacks up to it - the visuals are the most noticable difference. Gyroscopic controls sound neat (but I'm a spaz who likes that kind of shit), but I really don't know how much different it is outside of that.

I'd much rather play a game that does one thing exceedingly well, than one that does a terrible job at 5 things.

Just because L.A. Noire has variety doesn't make it good.

No. My recommendation obviously must be taken with that in mind.

Based on reviews, comments, etc., the game doesn't add much outside of new graphics. I haven't tried gyro control. The new graphics are very good though and the 3D effect is well done.

I agree. It also doesn't make it bad.

  7. Though I enjoyed LA Noire I can see Diff's point. Besides the driving parts (which blew) there really wasn't anything that resembles real game play. I love those interactive games but they are played purely for the story.
