Maybe it just switches to the touch screen when you need to use the gyro controls.

If this were a new StarFox I may have to get a 3DS, but as is I can play Star Fox 64 whenever I want already. Unnecessary purchase avoided.

Updated graphics (and whatever else is added), not having to worry about emulating it or hooking up the n64, and the fact that on release you'll be able to get it pretty cheap anyway is definitely worth it for me.

Lylat Reloaded looks cheap compared to demo videos I've seen of the actual thing. The game is running at 60fps, which is easily the most impressive thing when you compare it to the original. Fog is gone too. They made the landmaster more than one and a half polygons.
