    Yeah, I didn't mean to say that all they did was a retexture, but it looks like a lot less of a complete remake than the Zelda one, there's still a lot of very blocky geometry in there.

    I'd be totally into it, don't get me wrong, but only at $20 or less, really.

  2. $25 dollars american is acceptable for me.

    Is that what it's going for? That's not unreasonable.

    Nah, probably 39.99, but with some cheapassgamer.com skills I'm guessing it will be available for 24.99 in the first week or so of release.

  5. You know, Starfox 64 was one of my all time favorite N64 games. I played it obsessively in a strange desire to 'perfect score' it by getting the routes with the highest possible scores, and maxxing all those out.

    Yet I'm genuinely underwhelmed by this remake. One, it's a remake. Two, outside of the visuals there's very little I've read to differentiate it. Three, I bought SF64 for $10 on VC - why pay $40 for it on a handheld? If it's for the 3D, that kinda inhibits the portability. If it's to play SF64 on the go, then that inhibits the 3D effect.

    It's disheartening to see that the "best" efforts and "must haves" for this thing have largely been remakes of older N64 games, or demakes of 360/PS3 titles.

    What the fuck are you talking about? How can a Nintendo fan go from being bat shit insane in support of everything they do to bat shit insane against everything they do on this system?

    It's apparent they hit the ground running with this thing and needed ideas with quick turnaround. Same thing happened with Wii. First year Nintendo offerings was a TP port, Warioware (like they require that much effort), and three modded Cube sequels. That said I'm not impressed with the graphics in this at all, looks like a late 90's PC game.

  8. I do not agree with Hero's last post.

    Isn't having probably the best on rails shooter in 3D enough? It is for me. I hope they do a straight port of Sin and Punishment as well. these kind of games will be amazing in 3d.
    PSN = knarlockk
    Steam= kevinb150

    Totally. Unfortunately this isn't a remake of Sin and Punishment.

    Actually Sin and Punishment would probably be kind of maddening in 3D because of the reticule, now that I think of it. Shit.
