Between the new viewpoint and the lobster monsters, this is shaping up to be a very different Burnout experience!

After Paradise being so great, and NFSHP being probably my favorite arcade racer in the past 10 years, I have to wonder what they're thinking.

I can't believe I am feeling overwhelmed by the arcade racer genre. I'm still not done with NFS:HP or Ridge Racer 3D, and now we've got the cross-country NFS and this coming!

I love me some arcade racers. I'm not a gear head and thus couldn't give half a rats ass about Forza or GT. Give me wild ass drifts, crazy jumps, or cop chases and I'm in.

Yeah, I'm pretty positive that's the case. There's no way a top-down racer would be a full $60 game now.

Crash mode is the Burnout series' only blemish. So, so boring. I'll pass on this.

Crash mode was a good party game for passing the controller around, but that should not be the primary focus of the game. This is a pathetic announcement.

Also: Top-down? What is this shit?
