It's especially irksome because MS made us go through all these hoops to use accessories on 360.
I already had to buy a 360 FightStick, I was planning to buy another, now I will not.
They'll be happy to sell you a new one I am sure.
STOP SUPPORTING THIS SHIT
edit: Hell, even the new Kinect has a proprietary connector to make sure you can't use it on PC. Of course, they're working on a PC version too. It must be hard to add a USB connector. This company is out of control.

Indeed.
This thing is the gift that keeps on giving. Indies still can't self publish.
Then I'm going to guess you misread PS as PC, because I can't figure out how that responds to games vs. other apps used on consoles.
So here's my rundown:
I like:
-new controller
-new games in pipeline
-larger friends list
-fast OS
-transfers account and cheevos
-external storage
I don't like:
-TV integration will be crap
-locks out 360 accessories
-probably will still need Gold for everything
-Kinect spies on me 24 hours a day
-looks ugly
-Steam-like account system for owning games
-not as powerful as PS4
Undecided:
-Will MS deliver Steam-like value?
-How good are the new games?
Don't care:
-indies not self-publishing
They'll probably bunch the shitty HALO television series in with Gold exclusively and use it to justify a price increase to 14.99 a month.
The thing is though, when I bought my Xbox/360 they had some things going for them. The first online game service that wasn't title specific, XBLA and Gamerscore were all game centric things that didn't have competition elsewhere. Since then Steam has created a better community interface and online play that is free, their sales give us full games for as much or cheaper than many XBLA titles and everyone has a version of achievements now.
The One doesn't really do much to justify itself. It's not setting new standards like their previous two systems. I genuinely think this is a different kind of thing.
