I'm sure this has been discussed but I just don't get Microsoft's naming scheme for their consoles. First we had the Xbox. Fine, ok. This was followed up by the Xbox 360. Following up the three hundred and sixtieth Xbox, we have the very first Xbox, Xbox One. WTF.

All jokes aside...what is the logic behind these names, and does anyone agree that the PS1-PS2-PS3-PS4 naming scheme is much cleaner and makes more sense? I get that the Xbox One may be named One because it aims to be "all-in-one" - cable box, blu ray player, gaming machine, computer, etc - but I still think Billy may be dealing with latent issues of being a total fuckin retard. IMHO

Agreed. I also saw last night that Xfinity has a new voice controlled cable box thing called the X1, which I found hysterical.

edit: I guess Xfinity is Comcast. Comcast and Microsoft are two peas in a rotten pod. No wonder they came up with the same name.
