  3. Just like Rayman 2.

  4. Rayman 2's how old? (Also, still good!)

Because stories off the lips of gamers everywhere directly indicates how enjoyable a game is.

Because games are only enjoyable as long as people talk about them.

For someone trying to argue fun against popular releases why are you going by current popular discussion as the rating factor? Also, why did you pick a game a couple years old and two installments behind when comparing to the latest release of another series?

  7. Because it illustrates that most series releasing these days are replacements for the former.

Maybe I should've said Brotherhood - the argument is still the same. Once Revelations came out, it replaces everything prior in the AC series. Same with Modern Warfare, Battlefield, etc. AAA is the Madden of gaming with few exceptions.

Rayman 2 is still fun to this day. The newest installment has that same flavor of appeal. It's fun and doesn't replace its predecessor.

Whereas with AC, I *just* started playing 2, find it brilliant, and can't find anyone who 1) finds it relevant today or 2) continues to play it after going forward with Brotherhood or Revelations.

Then Angry Birds truly is the bestest, funnest game ever. I can go into a gaming forum and people will talk about Flavor of the Month for a while, online multiplayer games a little longer, but Angry Birds? Far more people talk about that regularly, it's relevant to the pop culture social consciousness, and that game went on for a long while before getting any sequel.

For the people who play Angry Birds, it is. This applies by your statements and by any other metric which the players of Angry Birds wish to apply.

Now, let's apply this title back to your original misguided post:

Does this help illustrate how pointlessly inflammatory and worthless your post is?

Why do you find it necessary to mention other games which you dislike in order to praise Rayman Origins?

Within the space of a few posts you manage to spend as much effort in voicing dislike for AC, some FPS shit, and Madden as you do to say you like Rayman Origins. What's the point? You use this phrase:
most series releasing these days are replacements for the former
as if it is fact and completely disregard how the industry has worked for the past three decades.

Why do you post all of this worthless garbage just to say that you like a game. Why can't you just say that you like the game and leave it at that.

I can swap the names of your statement like before and it remains just as true, you're just trying to slap the title of "AAA" on popular games you want to be haughty about.
