Why are we caring about review scores here, now? I thought we're all older than 16, right?

I've been playing DriveClub, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm not a huge racing game-player, though, and I don't know or care what Forza Horizon 2 is like. DriveClub has a lot of social stuff, getting challenges, sending challenges, all of the on-track stuff giving you trials to beat against other players, and that's what I'm really liking about it.

So, maybe it's good that I don't play a lot of other racers (beyond Ridge Racer), because I'm not sitting here comparing it to everything else.

For mainstream genres, certain ones are pretty helpful. That said, I had DriveClub pegged as a pass from day one, though Joust was talking me into it recently. When PS+ updates I'll find out for myself.

The only reason why I mentioned reviews was because Sony delayed this game a year to make it one of the standout must have games on the system. The problem is that they delayed it to a point where they are now competing with a better game on a rival platform.

I'm really waiting for an awesome must have game on PS4. I hoped this game would be it, maybe.

I'm just saying - that stuff has been in racing games since NFS Hot Pursuit.

Hey now, he specifically said he couldn't be bothered to know what other racing games are/do.

Edit: Here is how to impress Shidoshi. I have a waifu car on Forza Horizon 2.

Well OK, I mean that's justifiable and all.

Meanwhile, however, from what I've gleaned from that review thread, the overall summary on the comparison between it and Forza is "open world good, not open world bad, therefore Forza good Driveclub bad The End", which is to be expected from any given review of a game at present. Beyond that, there is a spread of praise and criticism, and that's something of which I am less skeptical in general than universal praise - again, especially from paid reviewers.
