I played the PS4 build of Planetside 2 recently, so I can at least confirm that it's a thing that exists.
Right, it's just developmentally delayed.

Firmware 2.0 is going out on Tuesday:
Looking forward to trying out Share Play.Among the highlights are YouTube sharing, Share Play (allowing a remote PS4 owner to play games with you as if they were in the room), themes, and a USB music player that effectively enables custom soundtracks.
That would double my PS4's chances of being turned on the rest of the year from 0 to 0.
Shin'en bringing Nano Assault Neo-X to the PS4:
I bought Nano Assault Neo around the launch of the Wii U and enjoyed it a great deal, in fact watching this trailer makes me want to get back to it. Hopefully PS4 owners check it out.

I didn't get it into it. flat > spherical > wonky shape
Now the two digital buys on WiiU are invalidated (this and NES Remix), I knew I should have stuck to my guns
That looks very nice
I'm really impressed with Share Play, not sure if anyone here has tried it.
It's SUPER laggy of course, but it works much better than I would have expected. It has a curious 1 hour time limit, but you're able to just restart the session after the limit is up, if you want.
But honestly, the reason I liked it is because you're allowed to share your system, then give someone else ANOTHER controller, not just your controller. This might have been common knowledge, but I hadn't heard of it. This means I can play Spelunky (which is local multi only) online. It has the most awful lag but I love dying in Spelunky, so it was still a great time.
Just from a tech standpoint, I find it really interesting. It's a really neat feature that isn't obvious, and also isn't tied to social networking, DLC, advertising, set top boxing, etc.

Yeah it's super interesting with the local multi stuff, but the lag pretty much kills it
