Being able to stream your games from your living room to the room next to your living room is not an equivalent feature to being able to stream games from your home to 100 miles away. The Wii U feature is a flop, there's nothing to derail. The system has no momentum and its marquee feature has been met with indifference.

Why are you arguing with me? We agree. I'm not out here claiming that the Wii U is some great thing.

My only concern would be the latency (whether at your home or 100 miles away). It's cool that the WiiU is simultaneous (I played a bit of Mario this way while watching TV), but honestly, I don't really want to play on an inferior screen if I am at my house.

I personally think NeoGAF is my enjoyment. Graphics mattering went up and down like the stock market recently. Pre WiiU launch, they mattered again. Then when the ports sucked, they didn't. Then when X was shown they did. It reached a high with the unveiling of the Most Wanted port. Now, the PS4 reveal is their Enron. I can't keep up.

What do I have to do to get Michael Pachter's job? Do we know if he's even a real guy? It could be some catchall name that everyone uses to make dumb predictions.

1. Work in finance.
2. Get the videogame analyst gig (they have analysts for every industry).
3. Get your name out there to CNBC and whatever. The producers of those shows call up the same people every time there is some news to discuss.

I guess, but how is that different than it not playing physical discs? Console generations suck, whether it's digital or not. My PS2s are still hooked up, and they still will be when I get a PS4. I'm not delusional about things like that.

I just don't want to buy a PS3 and PS4 to play the PS3 exclusives I missed.

My PS2 is hooked up right now, with a PS1 disc in the tray. My new PC can emulate/play my old pc games (and old console games.) My consoles should do it too if they're going to be iterative like this. I don't understand how companies get away with making all this money by removing features.
