Not dismissing. They just aren't needed. They add, but you can do fine without them. LIKE 3D YOU CHOWDA' HEAD.

Why "music games aside"? They're not aside. It's an entire genre in itself. That's how core sound can be to an experience and why it's no where near a gimmick.

Nice that you can't imagine a niche genre that doesn't exist now that depends on 3D for gameplay... just like music games are a niche genre that didn't exist for much of gaming history.

Their first party 3DS lineup looks pretty good considering it's all supposed to be out by the end of the year. Mario, Icarus, and then the SF64 and OoT remakes this summer.
