So my cousin got the game before release and I just got back from his pad from playing it.

We did survival for a little bit and it was fun but it got boring by wave 20. Did a little bit of spec ops and it seems like the same idea. Online was pretty fun, lots of noobs playing now that suck. Couple things I noticed were that juggernauts are REALLY easy to take down now, not sure wtf was up with that and reviving a teammate is a lot quicker.

I'm not a crazy COD fanatic, so don't expect me to know much else about the perks and killstreaks and all that crap. I might pick it up and try to get into it again. Does anyone know if the PC version has dedicated servers now?

Despite being number 24 in my Q, Gamefly just sent this out to me. So I guess I will murder soldiers with you guys later this week! (I was really hoping for Batman, Metal Gear, or Skyrim this week, but whatever)

Played online a little while. Seems good but I need more time with it. Played through the first two levels and I'm very impressed. In fact, I'm looking forward to more.


I would have never thought that Battlefield 3 would be the game to disappoint me and MW3 the one to impress.

Yeah, that's kind of my first impression, too. The maps seem incohesive. Any other COD, a few minutes in a map and I'd pick up on landmarks and flow quick; big open street on this side, narrow alleyways on that side, this building I can cut through quick, this one's a good choke point, etc... Most maps on this one just seem like pac-man mazes, the sense of place is much muddier. I left some maps no more familiar with their layout than when I started.
