The flamethrower isn't all that great in Aliens vs. Predator 2010 either. I've tried it a couple times and won't be wasting one of the two free weapon slots on it anymore. You set an alien on fire. Great? No. Now you've got a pissed flaming Xenomorph in your face.

A lot of Konami games in general, beside just beatemups like Crime Fighters. The western version of Xexex uses this shitty lifebar system. When you get hit, your lifebar gets drained Turrican 1 style and it can deplete in probably 3 seconds. You have only one life here, so dying ONCE sends you reaching for another 50 cents at the continue screen. You get 3 lives in the JPN version - that's more fair, even with checkpoints and one-hit kills.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
