  3. The best part of GBA Shinobi is that you can tell they put all of thier eggs in the "extreeme awesome animation" basket forsaking the rest of the game... And then hired an animator that can't animate.

100,000 frames come together to create the most awkward, clomping putz of a ninja the world has ever seen. Then they punctuate his heavy-footed "stealth walk" with a stomping sound. Perfect.

At least it should be better than Revenge of Shinobi.
I know, though they have given us LA Machine Guns/Gunblade (on the Wii, but now a PS3 Move version would be nice esp. that some good machine gun shells are out), Out Run 2/Online Arcade (Sumo Digital's port, but still Suzuki's game), and After Burner Climax. SoA actually did some good with Sega Rally Online Arcade (SR3) on XBLA/PSN. House of the Dead: Overkill is coming for PS3... good, but now where's HotD 4?

Sega's hits lately are fewer and farther between but they have some good moments.

If this has all Genesis and arcade Shinobis hidden as unlockables, then maybe. Shinobi III did appear on the Mega Play arcade cabinets, but with some levels cut out to shorten the game.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

Sega has two really strong divisions right now: The New Entertainment division that made the Yakuza games (and a few other things) and are working on Binary Domain, and the arcade division. That's pretty much it right now. And that's something but we don't see enough.

Eventually, I'm sure the arcade division is going to switch over to console development. They already did to make Valkyria Chronicles. Hopefully we see more like that (much as I love arcade games).

Operation GHOST is sounding really good ATM, and I'm looking forward to a PS3 Move port. Before switching to console development, I think they need to revisit Super Hang-On & Power Drift using today's 3D tech- esp. as amazing as PD turned out using 2D scaled sprites. Maybe even Virtua Cop 4 on Namco System 357, for the sake of it easily going to PS3 eventually.

  7. Newegg (again?) has this for $9.99.

  8. Didn't someone say this was good? I bought this during another sale even though I still don't have a 3DS.

  9. Me!

One of my top three games of 2011. Best Shinobi since Shinobi III!

Yeah, there was someone that was crazy about the game, but I can't remember who.
