Picked up Grand Theft Automobiles San Andreas this weekend for $4 on Steam, played about five minutes, already thinking about uninstalling it.
Hideous game, not particularly fun in any direction.

I had a good time with 3 and Vice City, but San Andreas was just dreadful to me. It left a sour taste so bad I still haven't played 4 yet.
Looks so bad on PC. I wasn't sure if it was just my machine or what, so I pulled up videos. Nope, it really is that bad!

e: but yeah, fun game for its time but suffers from too much to do syndrome... vice city nailed that ratio of core gameplay and side stuff perfectly and they haven't gotten it quite right since

Also they let you control the Live chat volume separate from the game audio, which is the best shit ever.
Games with good art direction stand out regardless of when they came out!
