I am looking for a better set.

Here's some movies a guy has hosted to compare various Vieras and and a few other brands.

Open them in a media player that has a manual frame advance, and compare all of the modern TVs with the CRT video. Ideally, Cammy's moves should happen exactly on the fifth frame after the button is fully pressed (so basically, the "first" frame that the button is pressed on is considered the "zero" frame, and start counting from the next frame). You also have to remember that these videos are with "everything turned off" on the TVs, meaning any type of image processing, including C.A.T.S./blur reduction/comb-filters/Video NR/auto 3:2 pulldown/etc. have been disabled while in Game mode.

The TV he ended up getting was the Viera P42GT25.

In a thread with some information he provided, someone else purchased a P42X3 and reported good results as well.

I'd recommend that you find a way to figure out which signal processor is in either of those sets to form a basis for what TV you buy.
